events is a CGI library designed to help you when you have a web site displaying any kind of dates, be it birthdays, parties, services, workshops or whatever. events helps you to build an automated list of all events or display the next event automatically.
WebCal allows you to create and maintain an interactive events calendar or scheduling system on your Web site. The script can create calendars for any desired month from 1601 to 2899 A.D.; events to be displayed are stored in an easily-maintained data file. The data file can include singular, weekly, monthly and annual events, and those events can be linked to outside URLs for additional information. Calendars can be viewed in several different table grid formats or as simple text listings.
Shared Calendars integrates schedules across your office or organization. It allows many users to each create their own individual calendars, giving access to different people as desired. They can create a calendar just for themselves, or for a committee or workgroup. Shared Calendars can also create a public calendar: ideal for integrating private committee meetings with public events. Its capabilities also include email reminders and recurring events.
FrameCal allows you to maintain multiple calendars using one perl script. Three different level access restrictions can be implemented, and a multitude of formatting options are available to customize the look of the calendar to your individual sites.
