This domain availibility checker is very simply based on a whois query, it checks to see if the domain name your client wants is available. If it is, it tells the user that the name is available for purchase. Otherwise, it suggests some similar names that are available which may be available for you or your client to purchase. You can configure your whois server list to check different sources as well.
