Description: UDSC is a system updating and security hardening tool with support for VPS servers. It disables SSH protocol 1 and moves the sshd port to 1322. It can install or remove APF Firewall. sysctl is hardened with a commonly used and tested sysctl.conf. Notification of root logins is provided via off-site email. logwatch is set up with nightly email messages. RKHunter is installed, and a cron job set up. Dangerous files are chowned to only root. iftop is installed (from source).
