Description: elAdmin is an experimental and new approach to open-source PHP content management. Successful PHP-CMS projects today are powerful, but they require users having experiences with web-technology. elAdmin on the other hand provides a graphical infrastructure to the user for every task, from installation upto template creation.
elAdmin attempts to provide the user a refreshing experience when he/she designs his website. The goal is to simplify the creation of a dynamic website onto the level of edititing text-documents or writing emails. The key to achieve this goal is to provide and improve graphical interface for all important tasks around maintaining the website.
In order to extend the functionnality of elAdmin, developers can write plugins and integrate them into the core system. In order to simplify the developers effort and to seperate the plugin cleanly from the core, a predefined interface exists.
