The HTML Website Comments System (WCS) allows you to easily plugin comments to any page of an existing html/static website. Great if you have galleries of images, software collections, articles, games, movies, or any kind of content on which you wish your visitors to comment. There is no limit to the number of pages you can have visitors comment on, while controlling everything from a single, central script. This leaves you the freedom to build your website the traditional, easy and solid way: HTML. Use your favorite web editor, such as dreamweawer or frontpage to build your site, and then plugin the visitors feedback feature to every page with our WCS. In the WCS admin section you can configure the system, set global variables, set the default configuration for the new guestooks, create an unlimited number of guestbooks (that is adding comments feature to any number of html pages on your website), edit/block/delete guestbooks, edit/approve/delete the posts in any guestbook.

DRBGuestbook is a free, simple PHP guestbook script. It uses a flat file to store entries, and doesn't require any additional database software. You can receive an e-mail notification anytime someone signs your guestbook.
The easy-to-use, password protected administration interface allows you delete multiple entries at once. The script uses a verification image to reduce the number of spam entries. There is also a customizable filter for blocking posts that contain bad words, as well as the ability to block specific IP addresses. Posts containing HTML code or URLs in the comments are blocked, and the minimum and maximum comment length is configurable. Flood protection is also included.
The pages are XHTML syntax compliant, and compatible with both IE and Firefox. Fonts and colors are easily customizable via a simple CSS style sheet. Text such as field labels and warning messages can easily be customized.

Tired of automated bots posting spam in your guestbook and want to put a stop to it? This is what you need. Silentum Guestbook is an easy-to-set-up guestbook system that uses a text file to hold the entries, so no MySQL is required. It can be up and running in a matter of minutes and integrated easily into any page. There are an abundance of spam-related words which, when detected, prevent the entry from being added. There is also a required 5 character verification image that needs to be repeated before posting to throw off almost all bots. If those prevention methods aren't enough, there's also a hidden checkbox field which, if checked, will stop the entry from going through. Since most bots complete every input field, they won't stand a chance. Five smiley images are included to add some eye candy to the page. The guestbook allows for an unlimited number of entries, divided into pages of five entries each.

I took the Advanced guestbook fromhttp://proxy2.de and added a plethora of features. I also added several anti spam features as the guestbook spam is a major probem. The guestbook features smileys, optional inputs, guests can upload pictures with their posts, a powerful badword filter, ip banning, flood control, text formatting, pre post moderating(check out posts before they appear in the book) and much much more.
