PhotoIndex is a PHP application that takes a large number of photographs, for instance from a digital camera, and store them in a database for easy viewing on the Web. It can be used as a PhPNuke module or a standalone. The example php module files can be easily modified to incorporate in your own website. The PhotoIndex application performs a lot of actions automatically so that you can put a number of pictures on the web with a minimum of effort. Simply drop this script in your picture directory, and it will automatically display all jpegs in that directory in a neat table. At present the script only supports jpegs. Both the large pictures and the thumbs need to be jpegs (this can however easily be altered in the script). This script will read all of the files in a directory, link all of the thumbnail pics to the full size pics and list them in html code for easy cut-n-paste use. It is customizable allowing the user to change the image tag hspace, vspace, and border size. PHPev is a script to manage fotos from different events. It is written in PHP an uses a MySql Database to store the different information. To browse through the fotos in a gallery a javascript system is used, which is loading all the fotos into the cache of the browser. This allows to made an automatical slide-show in your browser.
