Koops Mailinglist is a very easy to setup and use mailing list script written in PHP. Email addresses have to be confirmed before they are activated. Option to unsubscribe. It includes an easy to use password protected admin interface with: bulk remove not confirmed email addresses older than 48 hours, list of subscribers with possibility to remove them, send mail to subscribers in HTML with WYSIWYG editor (FCKeditor, looks like MS Office 2003). Other features are: anti-flood protection, language files, installation script, mailer class (Swift) for more efficiency. XHTML and CSS valid.

MWNewsletter is a simple, easy to use mailing list/newsletter management system, allowing you the opportunity to let your users sign up and receive updates and information about your site, your thoughts, or anything you like!
With an easy to handle template system (using header, footer and css files), MWNewsletter only needs a few variables to get you up and running.
With features such as the option to verify email address upon subscribing/unsubscribing and welcome/goodbye emails, manually adding subscribers, sending emails straight away or saving them for later, archive list of sent emails, the list goes on, what more could you ask for?
At the moment there is only the opportunity to have one newsletter running at a time with the script, but plans are underway for a version that allows you to run several different newsletters from the one place! This is a plain text sending version, but it is also planned to allow for html emails in future releases.

phpLedMailer is a simple, cool, easy-to-use single mailing list application -- that is, each install of it supports one mailing list. This application is very useful if you want to maintain a mailing list for your site, without having to deal with all kinds of nasty setup and complicated administration tasks. One of the nice feature of phpLedMailer is that you can maintain a list of any size. Unlike other mailing lists, sends are done in batches, but are complete at your command. You watch the send execute, complete with a nice progress bar to know how much is done and what is left.
New to version 1.8: You can also consume the phpLedMailer subscriber lists from as a web service (SOAP)!
Now fully supports FireFox!

Easy installation, ability to send personalized emails, users can join, edit their accounts, unsubscribe, each new user must be confirmed by a link in a confirmation email (opt-in), password protected admin area, admin can view or delete any user, design of all public pages and content of the newsletter is fully adjustable.
