Imagine you've just spent months writing a revolutionary PHP application and you are now looking to sell licenses for it. You have a great product but you are dreading coding another PHP installation process. Almost all PHP installation processes perform the same operations and no software developer enjoys "reinventing the wheel". This is where BuildExec comes in! In just a few minutes, you can have a completely professional, stable, and powerful PHP installation process for any application!
BuildExec was created by a team of software developers who recognized the genuine need for a PHP installation generator. These needs include saving development time, eliminating bug finding, and user-friendliness.
There are currently 6 types of installation steps (not including a custom PHP step): Server Check, Permissions Check, Configuration File Generator, SQL Importer, General Text Display, and Custom PHP Code.

IPF creates familiar, easy to use and reliable installers for web applications, e.g. PHP/ASP based applications. IPF created installers give a professional impression, and are a preferable alternative to distributing a bundle of files in a zip archive, and dramatically simplify the often awkward task of successful product deployment to remote servers.
Install .exe's for Windows can be created on Windows or Linux, with the Linux version being ideal for dynamically creating custom installers from a web server server prior to download. On Windows, in addition to the command line version, a comprehensive and easy to use GUI is provided to simplify usage, and requiring no scripting.
Installers offer fast install to remote or local servers, and eliminate common problems from error prone tasks such as setting custom file/dir permissions, and file corruption caused by WinZIP or manual FTP in ASCII mode instead of binary. Post install scripts can be triggered, custom graphics used for precise product branding, and familiar features of license agreement and help display plus much more are included.
The latest release 2.0 allows multi-language installers to be created, e.g. English, German, Japanese, etc., supports custom installer icons and version info, and has other innovations.

The ionCube Bundler creates Windows self-extracting archive bundles that can extract files to a temporary or user specified folder, and then optionally trigger a program from the extracted set of files.
An ideal use is for wrapping existing cumbersome and undesirable multi-file installer packages into a new single executable. When run, a small progress dialog is instantly displayed while the files are unpacked, before seamlessly triggering the main installer from the bundle. Once the triggered program in the bundle has exited, the temporary files are removed.
Windows Bundles can be created on either Windows or Linux, making it ideal for creating archive bundles dynamically on a web server.
The Bundler is by design simple and with a specific purpose, ensuring minimal archive overhead at <50K, and ease of use. If you need to create Windows self extracting archives from Linux or Windows, or wish that your multi-file packages were a single executable file, the ionCube Bundler is the solution.
