CVTSA [ClairVoyant SysAdmin] is a tool for GNU/Linux written in C that allows a user to run any command he wants on his Linux box [according to his permissions on that machines] even if he is far away from the computer. CVTSA works as a shell but receives commands via email (email could be sent from a standar mailbox, from wap or GPRS or some societies services that allow to send emails as SMS, etc...). Mbfree allocates and frees a given amount of memory. It is especially helpful on systems that are over utilized that swap a lot. A lot of OSs loose performance when their main memory is used and the OS is swapping. Mbfree allows you to allocate a certain amount of memory and free it. In Linux the result is usually faster loading of programs -- or successful loading of programs when they don't load because there is not enough free memory....
