From time to time, maybe even more often, there is a need to collect all the email addresses from one or more websites. Email addresses are easily noticed, but do you really want to go and search for email addresses on every single page of one website address. There is usually somewhere between 5 and over 10 and more pages that make one website. Therefore it would be a long and tiresome process to go through all the pages to get email addresses. Now with my perl script, only thing that you have to do is enter the name of website from which you want email addresses and wait for the script to finish extracting them and you get all email addresses in one file named emails.txt The script is heavily commented so its easier for anyone to change it for whatever reason. The Executer is a bit more advanced than its partner script (The Includer), it will grab the results of ANY web file (CGI, java, html, etc.) on ANY web site, by opening a connection (using the LWP module), and printing it anywhere you want using a simple Javascript tag. It not only does what SSI can (for servers that don't have it), but it can grab contents from any web site too! That's something you can't do with SSI....

This script is THE solution if you don't have Server Side Includes (SSI) on your server but want the features it brings. The Includer will grab the content of any file and display it where you want with the use of a simple Javascript tag. SiteShadow pulls information from other web sites, and places it within your own content as if it were your own. Put a favourite web site on your own web site, changing graphics, header, footer, or names. Or pull content from a free web host and save server space. You can even erase code, like those annoying pop-up banners. This is a neat way to mimic content from another site. Your web server can pose as a web browser, visit a web site of your choice, extrapolate content, modify it, and then feed it back to a user on your site. Using a search and replace routine, you can tell the script exactly what to look for and what to put in it's place. A snippet of JavaScript can be instantly removed, or the name of the site can be automatically modified. Don't like the style of the site? It's easy to instruct this script to grab only a portion of the remote site, to change images, and then display it with a header and footer of your choice. Warning: this could be illegal if your intent is to steal content and pose it as your own. You should ask permission of the original site owner before proceeding....
