Let me do that functions and tell me is like that you want exactly..i will show you some rougly demo, then if you think it is okie then let me know.
You know i have camera phone too..so i will take snapshots of anything as a pics from my mobile and send it directly to my mail accont now by using php script it will check out one number from subject line. According to that number it will find image path from the db of registered user in the system then it will copy the image in that directory or it will replace exsisting image.
We cant use from name from email becoz different different mobile service providing company have diff settings..like in my mobile if i sent the picture to any mail account then it will first sent to my mobile company account then it will redirect that mail to any account so from name will contain their address and name.
