It's on Linux based server and we use WordPress for publishing our posts. I've tested both FastCGI and normal PHP setting but almost same log have been produced.
I also use Optimize DB plug-in for WordPress and do optimization regularly. last time when I was thinking about it I suspected to my current WP theme in which it uses phpThumb to make thumbnails on rum time. then I did some tweaking and disable cropping and run time thumbnail maker but problem still resists!
on the other side some technical staff told me that's because of shared hosting environment and it's time to migrate to VPS or better. currently we have almost 20 to 50 concurrent visitors per minute and average of 7500 daily hits. what do you think? is that so?
