I have had to re-write all kinds of code because of IE8. But my favorite one to date is the built in Visual Studio ASP.NET dynamic menu component which doesn't work in IE8 AT ALL! You would think Microsoft would at least support the components that they included in their own development environment in Visual Studio 2005!
