I already have the ability to come here and help out others. I don't need a mod title to do it. Just saying if someone has to also spend their time deleting posts and keeping people in line it takes just that..time.
Just my 2 cents.
Thats the impression I got,

Its like being advertised as a major job opportunity with loads of criteria which the moderator has to achieve. When in actual fact its just a burden on the moderator, doing work for a website and getting no money in exchange.

The only thing really being offered in exchange is some form of "power" over the normal users.

People shouldn't see the modspot as a job. If you're here a lot anyway, and you like the community... then why not help out and move topics or whatever, if necessary? It takes like 3 minutes daily... if even that much. It's not a big deal. I'm mod on two other forums, and I don't get anything there either.

Nobody forced us to apply(or you for that matter), we wannted to help. Like Nico said, it's not like we have to spend the whole day surfing and moderating.. The load is very small compaired to other communitys, but that's besides the point.

I like to think of this as volunteer work, not as a job. I'm helping out of the goodness of my heart and remember money is not everything in life.
