ProgrammingTalk.com, an iNET Interactive site is currently looking for Community Leaders (aka moderators). We are looking for unique individuals who have a stong programming background, a desire to assist fellow members of the forums, ample time to spend in the forums on a daily basis, strong English communication skills, and a desire to be a part of the greatest web development community on the Net.

If you are interested, please PM SoftWareRevue or PM me expressing your interest. Please include your username in these forums as well as background information about yourself, the forum section you'd like to moderate and finally why we should consider you to be a Community Leader.

We will be accepting and reviewing applications for the next week or so. Part of our selection criteria will involve your activities here in the forums, where we will check to see how much time you spend here, how much assistance you provide to others, your ability to communicate as well as the knowledge you have. Your overall ability to make these forums the #1 spot on the Internet for development discussions will ultimately decide who will become moderators.

Not to be rude, but you are basically saying there 'your ability to make us more money while spending your time here' and not exactly offering anything up that would motivate me to volunteer (not that I would be a great canidate, but you catch my drift). Why not offer mods a few banner impressions, or a featured listing, or something of value..
I already have the ability to come here and help out others. I don't need a mod title to do it. Just saying if someone has to also spend their time deleting posts and keeping people in line it takes just that..time.

well, I agreed upto some extent, I have been a MOD of php forum on a famous web developers community for the last three months, they do offer MODs something that can keep them interested in spending time in the forum,

well I am very busy with my projects but I would be helping people about PHP (this is what i am all about now a days) without putting MOD hat on my head in this forum, but just a suggestion to forum team that give some package like MODs can get premium listings in some categories etc so it will get you the best people out there.

Because it is a SOLID truth the more famous your forum is the more chances to make more bucks .. so why not to share some ..

If it's still needed I'll be more than happy to take CSS off of your hands. I have moderating experience at moderating on a few communities, and work on the support staff of Shockv2 which offers a premodded forum software.
