Hi,
I have an application running on a server. I have ported this application to other server but it gives me the above error Sql Server does not exists or access denied error.I would like to know if i have to make any changes to the connection string.
Can any one help.

I'm assuming the servers have different names. Does your connection string consist of a server name that might need to be modified? Are you using a DSN to connect to the database? If yes, do both the servers have the same DSN? Perhaps that needs to be modified.

You can also provide the IP address and the DB name in the connection string instead of the host name... If your SQL host has things setup correctly then this should give you another option.
