[Digitalelite]

I am working on putting a website made with asp.net 2.0. I want to be able to add blogs, news etc. so it has to be able to run a database. I want to be able to do this off of my windows xp laptop. Does anybody know how I can do this?

if it is xp pro then just in stall iis and msde. if you need help along the way, just ask. it is what i am running on my lapto right now for development (but can be used in a production environment)

Ran exe to self extract. Went to "C:\sql2ksp3\MSDE" in command prompt and typed "Setup SAPWD=mypassword SecurityMode=SQL"

that should help you get started.
