I don't know how to do that, but I do know it is javascipt running the expansions...

The one in the link is driven off of a custom written control provided by the site, available on this page

Try infragistics tools. Having experience of them I don't find any fantasy (from end programmer's point) in that URL. you can create much better with that. My favourite is RowEditingTemplates.
