hi there im trying to add a user as a friend. so therefore i've performed a search within my site, where i can find a friend, also within the search i've managed to embed a link that takes the user to a different page with a message being sent to the searched users email stating "i like to add you as my friend" however i do not want the message to show up on screen, just to be sent over the server.

can anyone help!

Once you have sent an email to the user, simply use "Response.Redirect" to redirect the user to a different page (withough displaying the text to them).
