Dear sir,
i am facing a problem regrading asp.net web controls. i.e. when i run the project asp.net web controls are not showing in the internet explorer. can u plz tell me about the problem.

Try and re-map the iis extensions.

Go to start > run and type

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspne t_regiis.exe -i

Depending on your version number, you may have to modify the path.

I am having the same problem with ASP.net controls not showing in the ie browser window. Here is what I have tried:

1. I did the above command but that did not work.
2. I uninstalled and reinstalled both .net framework 1.1 and IIS and did the above command, but that did not work.

Help. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Try this...

I assume that you are using windows - 2000
Un install iis.
un install .net framework

re-install .net framework first

then install iis

now try to run your aspx page.

If .net controls still does'nt show

try running the command
Assume that you have installed .net framework in default directory
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspne t_regiis.exe -i


now try to run your aspx page.

if still have problem check for extensions entries in your iis default website properties..
