VB.NET is it one of ASP.NET?
Can I use VB.Net start my asp.net applications? n no C#.

There's no need for you to learn "the language" asp (often written in visual basic scripts which you probably know a great deal about if you programmed visual basic), but on the other hand it can help you to get a grip of systems built for browsers.
But again, the _language_ asp is for no use I guess.

asp.net can be written in all available .net languages.
