i get this error
cannot update. database or object is read-only.i checked the code alot of times already, and used somebodys elses code but i still get that.
can somebody help me

the code just connects to a database and enters some stuff in it.
i think i have to change something in the database, i dont know

Sometimes on free servers and such, they only specify one directory for a database. Such as Brinkster. Check to see if the database is in the correct folder. If you're not sure, you might want to contact your server provider.

I'm assuming you are using an access database?

Check the permissions on your database to make sure you are allowing write access.
