css issue

hi,

im making a css code for my iframe but it working like it should.

Code:
.iframe {
background-color: #000000;
border-width: thin;
font-size: 8pt;
color: #c0c0c0;
border-color:  #660000;
border-style: solid;
font-family: verdana;
}
now the issue is different depending on what broswer your using.

on firefox the background will work but the text and font wont.
on IE the font and text will work but not the background

i will be very happy if someone could help me with this as i have been bashing my brain on this for a few days now.

much thanks

note: this might be my issue but the css is not defined in the file in the iframe, if that is my reason for my problem then ill have to figure something out as this will be a remote file

from what I understand, IFRAME's are depreciated and you should find another way to do what you want. There are a few IFRAME look-alikes. Look into overflows and file includes would be my recommendation.

I'm not positive what you're wanting to do, but would it be possible to fake an iframe using a <div>, the file include, and style="overflow: auto" or something?
