Question Layout-Compatibillity and scrolling with arrow keys

Hi,

although I've spend much time on my layout and I'm quite satisfied with my layout, I'm unsure, because I'm beginner and I'm confused by several articles about compatibillity.

Here my Website: buzz-net.de

No I've 2 questions:

1. What do You think about my layout? Not the Layout-Style but the Layout-Compatibillity?

2. By a "normal" Website you can scroll the body with the arrow keys or the page_up and page_down key, when you have it fresh opened.
I've my content in a content div and I've fix divs, too, so when I load my Website I can't scroll the content div with these keys.
How can I make this? Has it to do with the focus or can I fix this with css?

for all other critics (or tipps) I'll be thankful

thx

Compatibility for what? Like for accessibility? What do you mean?

I can't remember offhand...but from what I can remember, when you try to emulate a fixed position layout with IE, it will destroy the scrolling ability. If you google 'IE fixed position' or something along those lines, you should be able to find some discussions about it. Unfortunately (or fortunately ?), everything is functional on my mac. If I can find anything to help you out tomorrow I'll try to repost.

Hi,

Yes I mean more ore less the accessibility ro liquid design. I mean different screen-solutions different font-sizes of the different browsers etc.

Usually there should be no problems with scrolling itself, but I mean, when you have the site new loaded and have'nt clicked anywhere on the site you can't scroll with cursorarrows like normal. I think I have to focus my content div but i did'nt want to use javascript...
