Table less Website Question

Hi Guys,

Would it be better to make website table less? Has anyone ever developed website completely table less?

And, what's the purpose of making a site table less?

Hope, I will have some good suggestions from you guys. Thanks...

1) Maybe. It's mostly a matter of opinion and you'll find no end of arguments on either side.

2) Yes.

3) Again, this varies.

yes i have developed my site completely table-less

table-less layouts are more easy to maintain since you have less markup. but if you want to show reports, then its wise to use tables.

Divs are good to establish the bulk of the layout, however, there are times when the simplicity of a table is best.

As a rule, if you are displaying tabular data (a table), and it is unlikely the layout will change, use tables, otherwise, use divs.
