Does anyone use absolute (css-p) positioning?

Hey there developers.

I remember 2-3 yrs ago people was telling me to try and avoid css-p because
it doesnt render properly but I dont seem to have any problems with them.
What I did was create a main container that is a relative and right afterwards
I created absolute tags within the maincontainer and they work perfectly.
When I edit the X and Y axis to 0, it goes right to the top left of the main
container, there is a reason for that but I forgot, it is useful however.

Does anyone use lots of css-p in there design? Please share your opinions!

Please check out this link as well

Absolute positioning is useful I think. I have full control with it. (top & left)
And also I often use "float" attribute. No problem so far.
