X_X MySQL to MSSQL questions

Hay,
I need to switch to MSSQL from MySQL for the extra functions needed.
I noticed some mssql commands like mssql_connect, does this mean changing all of my existing mysql commands?

Whats the major changes when changing to MSSQL? query strings?

Thanks,
Lex

What functions do MySQL not have? Switching to MSSQL might as well be down-grading :-/

I concur 100%, and I'm also curious as to what functionality MSSQL has that mySQL doesn't. As far as I am aware, mySQL is the better of the two in nearly every respect.

Oh, I recently teamed up with someone creating PDA software.
He needs to connect to my sql server, and said I needed Microsoft SQL server for this to work.

Is there something I need to know.... so I can have power

Lex
