sql server 2005 connection

hi everyone , i am a beginner in sql server 2005 and till now i can not connect to the server (i am installing the windows iis), and i dont know how to connect to the server..

also i want to know how to create a new database???

i think that the first step is to connect to iis server and i dont know how to make it..

help me plz

well the webserver does not need to connect to the SQL server, your script would do that, so cant help you much there with out knowing what language you use.

as for creatting tables, you can download the MS SQL Server Management Studio Express from microsofts website for free, or if you have a full copy of SQL server the CD should have the management software on it.
