This mite seem like a silly question but in myphpadmin how do i find out my username and password can anyone help me please?

for the mysql database.... somebody told me you go to privileges and i can create a new username and password is this true

If you've forgotten the password, you'll probably have to reset it.

If you are using cPanel you can go and create a new username / password and then just update your connection include.

Well you didnt say that you were using XAMPP or that you were running your own box. I had assumed you were using a shared hosting service. Sorry. I guess your using the command line then. Your going to have to enlist the help of someone more knowledgeable than I then. If not for cPanel and phpMYadmin I could not use MYSQL.
