Java Virtual Machine

Does anyone know where I can download Java Virtual Machine for WinXP?

I have a site developmed with Java, that needs it, and I can't seem to find it on either ms's site or sun's site

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html has the current production JVM's. According to http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/syste...gurations.html XP is supported.

Whoa - what are you downloading? The installer I see is 48MB - it's very unlikely that you need the Netbeans installer (which is much bigger at about 92MB).

Edit - you're downloading J2EE 1.4. You don't need that - go to the "Download J2SE v 1.4.2_03" section.

I downloaded the installer, and when I tried to install it, it told me that it's an upgrede for existing installations????
