Unhappy exec() in java applet

i want to run exec() in java applet.But it gives so many errors. help me...

By default the applet security model would prevent this. A signed applet would allow the user to decide if they wanted to allow it.

But what are you trying to run? Even if this was allowed will the command be the same on my Solaris, Linux, and Windows machines? I doubt it.
