What tools do you recommend for flash creation?

Hi all,
I'm a noob learning everything web-related, mostly by example.

What software do you recommend for getting started with some Flash creation?

(My budget is OK, Adobe stuff I get essentially for free thru my employer)

Cheers,
Jaxz

i truelly recommend Flash 8, the latest flash creator and editor of macromedia/adobe. but it's the only one i know .

The interface is a little complicated at the beginning, but you'll learn it very quick, and then you have the powerfull tool of Flash 8.
There are lots of tutorials to be found on the web about Flash 8, so you'll always find what you need. There's also an online help-website where you can find most sollutions to your problems

Greetz,
UnrealEd

Hi jaxz, I have to say Flash 8 is a little bit difficult for a beginner, i hate the very complex interface.

i use Sothink SWF Quicker since April... i took it to create my little games, Flash video (that is my favorite, GOOD quality), slide show, albums...... eye-catching effects!

Macromedia Flash 8 is OK, I also heard Sothink some place else, I have not tried it, but i will, cuz one of its features really sounds good, u may choose ur file exported to .swf or .flv, that'll be much easier for me to upload my work to web. The interface is just like Flash 8, not much different.

Up to ur choose.

P.S. I'm also looking for some good animation tools, I will come for any news.

I'm a user of Sothink SWF Quicker. It's really brillient. I can modify my flash even when I lost the fla file.

The interface is similar with Macromedia Flash, but I don't think it's easy for beginners.

I recommend you to use swf utilities by Dcomsoft:

SWF COMPRESSOR-DECOMPRESSOR will allow you to pack and unpack files of the SWF Flash format (SWF Flash may be of any version) without loss of data and qualities. The program has the built-in player of SWF-files.

Dump Flash decompiler is the program that treats compressed and decompressed SWF-files and shows the detailed structure in the tree form. It's possible to export a file to the XML format for the next work with SWFMILL program.

SWF PROTECT REMOVER will allow you to delete protection tags with the password or without it (tags for protection against editing) from files of any versions of the SWF Flash format. The program has a built-in player of SWF-files. SWF Protect Remover can work with the packed SWF-files and pack them after processing.

SWF DEBUG REMOVER will allow you to delete enabledebuger(enabledebuger2) tags with the password or without it (tags for protection against debugging ) from files of any versions of the SWF Flash format (deletes enabledebuger from SWF-files of version 5 and enabledebuger2 from SWF-files of version 6 and above).. The program has a built-in player of SWF-files. SWF Protect Debug can work with the packed SWF-files and pack them after processing.
