When you say to the owner of AvChat that Camdate is better than his program, which is a proven fact, he refers you to the "unethical" (his words) posts there are on Camdate on this forum.

When you are still about to buy, he talks about the support he would offer and free upgrade period and stuff.

When you got your version, and go request an upgrade as per what he said earlier, he tells you next monday.

Ok, I wait, then I ask for it again, he makes me wait longer and longer.

One month later, I get him on msn and he says
"Before sending you the software you must agree to this EULA: http://www.avchat.net/eula/ . Please read that EULA and then reply back to me."

Then he says this:
"Naicu Octavian (www.naicuandnaicu.com) dit :
Right now there is no legal agreeement between us so we are not OBLIGATED in any way to send you anything."



What WONDERFUL and VERY ETHIC support!!

Please, Naicu, don't ever dare again to judge the "ethics" of other companies now!

Hello, I am involved with the team that has developed the software and I am writing here in reply to the accusations that have been brought forward in this thread.

riquelme entered in the possession of the software by buying a website from a person who had already purchased the chat software and used it for that domain.

Because riquelme has never brought from us the AVChat software, there are no legal agreements between us and him, we are not obligated to provide him with any updates.

After a few talks with riquelme, we finally agreed to grant him a license and a update because he had a older version of the software. After a few talks with our lawyer we also politely asked him to read the EULA. This is were the communication between us stopped.
