Hi,

I have a flash movie that calls an .asp file and uses loadvariables to plot points on a scatter graph.

The problem I have is that it works correctly in firefox(without any fancy javascript), but it doesnt work in IE7(even with some fancy javascript).

I have tried about 10 different workarounds and I have managed to remove the 'Click to activate', but in IE7 it doesnt plot the points. Its as if it cannot call my .asp page in the background at all when in IE7.

Anyone got idea how to get round this stupid problem?

Sorry I can post all of the exact code as this is a fairly confidential, but I'll try to give you as much information as possible.

could you post your code please. Just the part where you load the page.
Could you also post your asp page where you send the data?

That's not possible, as it's not IE that requests the page, but flash. I've never used asp before, i always use php, and it always works fine.

I found the solution using this script and some jiggery pokery if anyone is having the same issue. Looks like this is the only script that works 100%.
