masking problem

Hi there.

I was wondering if I can use a MC as mask?..
Doesn't work when I place it as a mask the regular way.

I want to do this so I can change the alpha of the mask
and decide with that if the masked part is visible or not.

a movieclip object has a property named _alpha which determines the alpha level of the movieclip

You can use a movieclip as mask just by adjusting the _alpha property.
