What version should I save my .swf in?

Hi and TIA for your help. I've got Flash CS3. In the Publish Settings -> Flash tab, it looks like the default settings are Version: Flash Player 7
ActionScript version: ActionScript 1.0

I wonder why those are not the latest versions. Do you recommend otherwise, instead publishing to Version: Flash Player 9 (the latest available in the pull-down menu), and ActionScript version: ActionScript 2.0?
