New here - glad to have found this site. I hope I'm in the right category - I did searches and couldn't find what I'm looking for.

I'm familiar, for the most part, with flash and xml/html coding, but am having a difficult time figuring out how to add image navigation to my portfolio site.

When an image is clicked to enlarge, I would like to have small right/left arrows so the viewer can scroll to the next image, rather than clicking to close the first, and re-opening the 2nd. I'm not sure if this is extremely complicated code - it appears on most all galleries that I see online.

Any advice, help, input, or direction is greatly appreciated.

What would need to be done is a pair of queries each time an image is shown. The queries would select the next image id and the previous image id. Once you have those it's a relatively minor thing to turn them into links so people can navigate with them. What software or script are you using to display the images?
