Hello all,
I was wondering if it is possiable and anyone know how i can play frames in reverse.

I have some.. 20 frames.. and a previous, stop, and next button.
Each time you click the 'next' button, you will be sent to the next frame untill there is a stop(); action, in between that stop action and etc.. there are the effects that are done, fade and etc... so what i want to do is make it so that, if I click the 'previous' button, it automatically plays the frames in reverse untill the next stop(); action (in w/e frame), so it fades out automatically.. get it?

(basically, i just need to play frames in reverse or backwards w/e on click of the previous button.. thanks)

Im not expert, or noob (worse) in flash, but what i think it means is that it only works for objects.. and you see that is the problem. I don't want an object to move backwars, i need it to just play frames backwards..

like..
* All bold numbers have a stop(); action *

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10
Press previous.. and it plays..
9,8,7,6,5
Press it again it plays...
4,3,2,1

get it?

Did you check http://www.webwasp.co.uk/tutorials/b.../backwards.php? Though a bit complicated, it explains how to play backwards.

You might as well try to assign names after and before fades. Depends on your exact need.
