As needlessly expensive your swish 3d flash pages might be, You could at least do a proper spellcheck first.

"Wait Please.. Loadign"
"Bast place to get your new car"

needlessly expensive???

Just count how many people were involved in production before claim our templates "needlessly expensive".
1. Photoshop designer (to create PSD file)
2. Flasher (to develop .FLA files)
3. Html coder (to make coding of no flash version)
The main point is that you get exclusive rights, without them you can buy them for $55 on our website and they will be removed from that listing as soled once.
It is not ready-to-use websites. It's just templates, so you can easily change and add your own text...however I ask the developers to change "Loadign" to "Loading":-)

Here's A Free One - Dynamic SQL w/Swishmax

Which would you rather have?

(Also listed at Hotscripts)
Swish CMS is a dynamic flash content management system based on Swishmax, MySQL 3+ and PHP4. This system can be completely controlled without the need for Swishmax itself (required to edit the framework) and includes an admin panel called Ground Zero that will allow admins to update and monitor their Swish CMS website from the internet or the comfort of their desktop (Windows Executable). Swish CMS negates right clicking issues inherent to php portals and is coded to defeat attempts at decompiling and also does not allow flashplayer to "Step" through the core or modules (to skip logins, etc). Swishmax was chosen as the authoring tool to show that it can indeed stand toe to toe with FlashMX when it comes to dynamic data and also because the cost of Swishmax itself is more affordable to the average user or novice. Swishzone.com also offers a free 30 day unrestricited trial for users new to Swishmax. This version, called "Block Party" uses a simple templating system that uses a 5 slice master PNG that has to be seen to appreciated. The next portal to be released "Color My World" is already in development and it uses vectors and pixel fonts that can be colored in any combination on the fly with all user color choices stored as SQL in thier account. Here are some of the features of "Block Party".

This system is running now at http://www.upstatetemplates.com for Flash fans to try it until we finalize the transition to GNU/GPL.

Main Features:

Auto generated backend (Last 10 news items) which can be blogged in 0.91 to 2 XML Feeders or Blogs. This backend file can easily be edited to blog input from any table in the database. You can blog mine using:

http://www.upstatetemplates.com/2004/backend.php

Encrypted Logins
Sessions (SQL based, not cookied)
User cookies
Dynamic download section (50 slots)
Stealth Downloads with User Gate feature (See Below)
Dynamic Paypal Store (50 slots)
External Theme System (10 slots)
Auto generated admin notifiers (See Below)
Chatterbox Shoutbox/Chatbox (SQL)
Streaming SQL based MP3 player (50 slots)
Admin configurable Main Menu
Extensive user tracking and logs
Who's Online Feature with area
Switchable Layout Menu
User email confirmations

Draggable side blocks with self fired backgrounds on drag. 1 button returns all dragged windows.
Web based sql installer - just fill in the blanks

Included Modules:

Contact (Feedback)
News
Submit News
Web Links
Downloads
E-Store
Member List
Your Account
Recommend Us
Statistics
Policies

Specific Features:

Downloads:

Each download section is built at runtime from data supplied by the admin. They simply fill in the blanks in their Ground Zero application and the CMS will generate the download, it's counters and all related logs automatically. The downloads themselves have their path hidden so users cannot hotlink or leech using the download windows path. The Gate feature allows admins to set a pre-determined amount of time (seconds) before a user is allowed to download again. If they have not waited long enough, the user is redirected to a screen that displays the gate time and their last logged download time.

Built in Chatterbox:

This shoutbox doubles as a mini chatroom with user selectable chat/shout mode. In chat mode the text refreshes itself every 5-10 seconds. In shout mode it refreshes on submit button only. It will trap empty messages and prompt the user to enter text. The backside will parse any attempts to halt the chat text and warn the admin if a user attempted to enter code tags. It will convert any URL entered into a clickable link. It will filter for bad language as well. Every chat message is timestamped and in the admin panel you can see the IP of the user who sent every message in cases where banning is required. Built completely with Swishmax.

Automated Notifiers:

The admin is notified for:

New Registrations
Feedback sent
Recommendations Sent
Profile Editing
News Submissions
Web Link Submissions

Users are notified for:

Registration Confirmations (CMS02 - Login/Pass/Agreement)
Web Link Approvals
News Submission Approvals

Paypal E-Store:

This store makes "Buy Now" as easy as pie with dynamically built buttons from data supplied by the admin. Using ground zero, admins just enter the products details and the CMS will build the items listing in the store. Preview windows, prices, window sizes and more are dynamically built and the user is brought to your paypal account with the information already filled in for purchase.

(** The Paypal store can be custom ordered to supply any field you may need to pass to Paypal for your product type. Contact for details**)

Web Links:

Each CMS comes with a dynamic Web Links section. Users are able to submit their website and Ground Zero will allow the admin to delete, add or edit any existing or user submitted link. Approved links are confirmed to the email supplied by the submitter. The Web Link category names (5) are admin controlled.

Feedback Form:

This dynamic form will send all feedback messages to the address you supplied during your installation process. All backside logs reflect amount of feedbacks as a whole and on a user to user basis also.

Site News:

This is the default module for ALL CMS systems. All news stories are added with the Ground Zero application and are immediately converted to xml news feeds that can be parsed in most RSS bloggers. There is a link to the backend file in each news section so your members can add the address to their feeders.

News Submissions:

Users are able to submit news to your Swish CMS and the Ground Zero application will allow you to add, edit or delete any submission. Users are notified if their news item is added to your news section and all logs will reflect the addition as well.

Member List Module:

This area allows users to get general information on another user. ALL users are given the opportunity to hide their email address from other users during registration and in the Your Account module. It will list the current statistics for that user (downloads, feedbacks, etc).

Recommend Us:

Users are able to recommend your CMS to their friends using this panel. All recommendations are logged and the admin is notified on all SEND commands. All logs reflect the recommendation action.

News Archive:

By default, the last 10 news stories are displayed in your News module. Users are able to pull up your complete News history with this module to read old posts.

Statistics Module:

This module displays an extensive list of server statistics. It refreshes itself every 30 seconds and is a handy item.Site Policy Module: This is also a dynamic module. It is installed with a generic policy already in place that can be edited using the Ground Zero application.

Your Account module:

This module requires all users to login again for security and will allow them to adjust their account settings live. It will validate to each user that their new settings are correct. Completely dynamic!

Ground Zero:

This is the admin panel that controls the entire CMS. It has everything you could need to administer your website and the Desktop Windows Ground Zero is our preferred way of handling the main server here. All it requires is an active internet connection. Each CMS also includes an encrypted web based version for remote control of your website.

** The web based Ground Zero is ready to go right from the get go. It uses vitual directories. The desktop Ground Zero will require users to edit the source code to enter thier full server path for each instance of a backside call and export it as EXE (Kiosk). This way, you will not need a browser and your Flashplayer will connect you in one simple step. **

Dynamic Main Menu:

Swish CMS ships with a 17 node main menu. We include 11 modules and you can add 6 more for a total of 17. Admins decide the name of each menu item and also the path to the target it loads. This way you could replace every module with flash content of your own if you wanted as long as it meets the sizing requirements (600x500px). Open source bloggers, chatrooms and more can be targeted.

External Theme System:

Every CMS comes with a 10 slot dynamic theme system. The graphics are externally loaded and use a backside numbering scheme that allows admins to just upload a new set to replace an old one. The theme names are decided by the admin in Ground zero and the master 5 slice PNG file is included so you can make your own!

Easy Installation:

Upload 1 folder, edit 3 backside files (connection settings, 4 lines each) , run the web based SQL installer and you are UP AND RUNNING. The installer will setup your admin account, website details, paypal store and populate the cms with example data where needed (welcome news messages, default top ten, etc).

Security:

Banning:

Every CMS comes with built in global banning. All users accounts are updated on every visit to reflect their last known IP in cases where logs have been cleared. Every movement inside the CMS updates the IP address of every user as well. The ban routine is designed to defeat flashplayer right click bugs (forward, play) and there are special frames coded in to make sure nobody can "step" through the movie.

Decompiling:

Due to the nature of the design itself, flash grabber programs will not help a thief as everything is dynamically loaded. All the thief gets is a ton of empty sprites and references to objects that they do not have.

Backside Security:

The design of the backside defeats direct hits in a browser. Right clicking and source code viewing are useless and the SSI routines are safe and secure. HTACCESS files protect the core from prying eyes as well.

Logins and Passwords:

All logins are SQL based and encrypted. CMS02 auto generates user passwords using a combination of uppercase, lowercase and numbered characters. Password length is admin defined. The system does not allow duplicate usernames, passwords or emails so every user is unique and the banlist is checked also during registration.

Module Redirection:

Using the dynamic main menu, ALL package versions are able to point to any directory in their webspace to run the module from. They can be renamed to anything you want to frustrate guessing and Ground Zero makes this a breeze for the admin.

Hotlinking or Leeching:

Browsers have the habit of showing the path where a file originates in the download window. Swish CMS does not show users anything like that. The CMS will not display the path to the file downloaded. The download gate allows the admin to decide how long a user must wait to download again and it is handy for servers where constant downloading without user interaction is frustrating the admin. It can be set from 1 second to infinity and it works great (try mine!).

This version allows users to register and will send a confirmation email to the user that contains your server agreement as well as their randomly generated password (length decided by admin, uppercase, lowercase and numbered generation). It then adds an entry to the database which stores this entire email, date it was sent, address sent to, and timestamp of generation. When the user logs in for the first time, it updates that record to show the first recorded login using that account and timestamps it as well. The confirmation email clearly states if they use the login and password supplied, that they have in effect AGREED to the rules as defined in your agreement. This will all be automatically saved as SQLso you can use it in cases where the server is accused of spamming by a member who may have forgotten they even registered (it works, I've had this happen!) during routine newsletter actions.

Flash = poor website design

Anyone that uses Flash needlessly is no web designer. I don't care if you had a thousand people involved, Flash just gets in the way 99.9% of the time.

This may come as a huge shock to you, but there are lots of people who don't use Flash or have it enabled in their browser, or who have accessibility issues (like vision impairment). All Flash does is prevent these people ("customers") from using your site. That's brilliant.

Pleasing the world.

You make a good point EndUser but it is really an opinion that should be taken into consideration as it relates to your targeted audience. There are thousands of websites one would never see even if they surfed every day for the rest of thier lives so to say using a non flash based system would add "customers" to any website is really an opinion, not a statement of fact.

With Macromedia's Flex and Ego7's (among others) growing userbase for integrated flash enabled devices, which are being incorporated by very large corporate entities as viable platforms, I think these devices will grow in popularity.

Is Flash for everyone?....no. Is it perfect? Of course not, few things are. Is it a matter of choice? Very much so.
