Exclamation NEW: PHP Resource Site!

There is a new php resource site in the area. It will be fully made and cutomised by 1st March this year. We will need members to help with the forum, developers to post their scripts on the site so that all the visitors will see your download.

The site will also have tutorials all about PHP this is a PHP only site and we need some help. We will also be accepting links to other related sites (and member sites).

Anyone willing to help then either register on the site:
http://www.worldofphp.com
or send me an email:
scorpion@worldofphp.com

Together we can make this the best PHP site! The site is less than 2 days old so the site will constantly be changing between now and the 1st of March but no content posted by members or admins will be removed.

Programing Talk - You are more than welcome to have your link in the directory.

Do you have a problem with that? I did at first but i was told by many php experts that it does not matter! Do you think that this forum was made by Programing Talk?

The reasons why we chose to base the site on PHP Nuke were:
1. To save time.
2. To see how popular the site would become.

If the site becomes well used we will be willing to invest (today) upto $300 in paying a professional to make the site. In about a year we will look to see how much the site has made and then decide if we pay a professional how much the job will be worth.

I think what he meant was that PHP-Nuke is hacked on an almost daily basis. It's a great portal system but it's got more holes than an Asian w hore house.

Well, I would love to have some advise about how to secure it, if you are offering. Do you need the admin username and password to secure it *I aint that stupid so dont even suggest it*

We are planning to greatly modify it anyway but i can see a few security issues with it already. (about 20 hours after installing it).

There are a number of add-on packages for PHP-Nuke to enhance (read: fix) the security. If you run it, I strongly suggest using one of them.

You'll see a lot more if you don't run an add-on pack.

Two good resource sites for nuke:

Nuke Cops and Computer Cops

Lots of fixes and add ons although computer cops is more general rather than specific to nuke.

Ok, thanks a lot. If you have a site that you want to advertise or a download you think should be listed then feel free to add it to the site.
