I am starting a new political forum and I need your help!
I am a java programmer by day, and I've started a pet project that I really want to build. And I've come up with 6 (hey, I'm no David Letterman) reasons why you might want to help me.
(Drum roll)
6) Come on, admit it. When you visit these forums you have the most fun in the lounge debating about some free speech issue or Iraq or why men get paid more than women or ranting about microsoft.
5) Scintillating conversations (between me and the four other current members, that's why we need you!)
4) The forums are almost empty, but some people are always the brave ones who go first. You're pretty brave, aren't you?
3) Now wouldn't it be nice to get that warm feeling inside being part of something so young, and watching it grow? Come on, you know you want to.
2) When the forum grows, you'll be one of the senior members.
1) With only five members so far, this is your chance to get the username you've always wanted. You can be our forum's dave or matt or susan.
What better reasons are there than these? Seriously, help me build a community and I promise you'll have a good time, get to share your views, and learn a few things, too.
If you're at all interested in the discussions and debates we get into about Iraq, religion, President Bush, free speech, etc, in the lounges of many of the boards we frequent, you'll like this place. Help me get it started.
Thank you.
