Suggestion: Remove the frame when you visit an Script Site

It has been said in other threads and I repeat it here.

Having a Red Frame with a link to return to Hot Scripts is a bad idea on all the scripts you are looking.

Because you don't know the URL of the site you are visiting.

It would be better if it just opens in a _blank window.
Or even better lett user choose if they want to open it in a new window or not.

Finally I like the new site look.

Thanks for the compliments and suggestions. I will see about making this a user configurable option. The toolbar across the top will actually contain a lot more information in the near future. It will allow you to instantly rate the script, add HotNotes (kinda like a sticky note personal to you), and allow you to add the listing to your favorites all without having to return to the site.

Based on feedback we have received, we will be adding a preference in the my account section to completely disable the toolbar frame, and also adding a "Break Out of this frame" button to the toolbar for others who are not logged in. Please look for this within the next few days.

Thank you! That would be a great idea, I think your idea for the frame is cool, with the rating and all, but, I also hate not being able to have the real URL shown, aka a remove frame link. When you impliment that it will be great!

Oh great, yeah, I was going to say. I despise the red frame. It drives me insane trying to view sites like that.

Also, if you're going to have it turned on by "Default" (even if there is an option to disable it) you might want to put a "Location" text-box in it so people can see the URL they're visiting and copy / paste it!

Thanks,
Matt

Both ideas have been implemented (the location bar so you can cut and paste, and also a breakout of frame link). If you have other idea's, I will add them to my list. Thanks again for the patience and comments.
