Javascript a subforum of java?

Hello,

I was just wondering why the javascript forum is a sub forum of java. Wouldn't it make more sense to have it under Client Side Programming or possibly its own forum under "Hot Topics"?

Sorry if this has already been discussed before.

this issue has come up before but nothing was done. i think it is good you have risen it up again as i think it would be best if it were placed under its correct topic!

Many people confuse the relationship between javascript and java, but I would think a forum for programmers would have it right.

I think it is something the admins here should consider.
