I have posted some reviews about some scripts but they are getting deleted. I am not sure who is deleting this reviews.

Does the Publisher delete the Negative Reviews ?

Hello,

Publishers do not have the ability to delete reviews. Your reviews might have been deleted after not meeting the guidelines (http://www.hotscripts.com/helpdesk/i...mod_id=2&id=12) or per a publisher request (e.g not being part of their client base, etc) . Please submit a support ticket about your reviews removal, and we'll investigate: http://www.hotscripts.com/contact/

Thank you for the response :

1. If a publisher gets a poor comment he can surely request Hot Scripts to remove the review saying he/she is not a client - How is Hot scripts going to take care of this ? As a client comes and post a review and there is no need for him to follow it up every day in Hot scripts whether its deleted or not but the publisher to promote is site he can always say that review was not posted by the client how is hot script going to safe guard the real reviews ?

2. Who is client - For Example in a Auto Portal there are several people who are signing in and registering in and they are indirect clients as they are the people who really faces the bugs but according to the publisher they are not their direct client because he did not sell that Auto Portal Package to them- How is Hot scripts going to solve it out ?

Reviews are reviews whether its posted by the client or the person who sees the demo version and finds faults in the portal and gives review - How can Hot Script remove the reviews if the Publisher says that he is not a client as no publisher wants to have negative or poor reviews.

The publisher can post 100's of excellent reviews using different email ids as Hot Scripts doesnt have any restriction for the same - This will ultimately effect the prospective buyer with a wrong review.

Hope you will look into the same as I feel Hot Scripts must not encourage Publishers just to promote their portal with Excellent reviews.

Hello,

I do agree that the current review system can be easily gamed. We're currently working on a revised review system which will be available next week. All reviews posted will have an optional verification process whereby we'll verify the URL where the script is installed as well as any proof of purchase or usage. These reviews will then be tagged with a 'verified' note. This should help us verify the authenticity of all reviews posted.
