Unhappy what is wrong with this?

I think it's because you are using FrontPage which made all these FrontPage extension's variables
what exactly do you want to do with this form? to where do you want to send the form?

Most web hosts will have to turn Front Page extensions on for your domain in order for Front Page forms and scripts to work. You might want to check and see if they are for yours.

well guys im trying to create a log in form for users to access their accounts on my website and the only way i know now is thru frontpage. i heard about php/mysql but im not that good at it...so i only need a simple form to use for the users to create their accounts on my website. plzzzz help

What you are describing require much more than a "simple form." It requires some more advanced content management. FrontPage can make you a form, but it can't build you a content management system or set up the database you will need manage these accounts. I would recommend reading up on PHP/MySQL and building this yourself. You can't get good at it unless you're willing to put a little time in.

I do seem to recall that there are some pre-made login scripts that use a simple text file to store information about your users. Although i would never recommend this for amongst other things, security!

PHP/MySQL (as mentioned) comes highly recommended as you will have a database in which all your user information will be stored and accessed everytime they visit your site.

That is your best option in my opinion.
