What do you want the login to do? Do you want it to protect one webpage?

try this javascript code...just put it inside the BODY tags of your page. change the username and password in the script as well as the pages to redirect to.

<form>
<p>ENTER USER NAME :
<input type="text" name="text2">
</p>
<p> ENTER PASSWORD :
<input type="password" name="text1">
<input type="button" value="Check In" name="Submit" onclick=javascript:validate(text2.value,"free",tex t1.value,"javascript") >
</p>

</form>
<script language = "javascript">

/*
Script by Anubhav Misra (anubhav_misra@hotmail.com)
Submitted to JavaScript Kit (http://javascriptkit.com)
For this and 400+ free scripts, visit http://javascriptkit.com
*/

function validate(text1,text2,text3,text4)
{
if (text1==text2 && text3==text4)
load('success.htm');
else
{
load('failure.htm');
}
}
function load(url)
{
location.href=url;
}
</script>

<p align="center"><font face="arial" size="-2">This free script provided by <a href="http://javascriptkit.com">JavaScript Kit</a></font></p>

Like someone already said, there's over a million ways to code a login box. The trafficdx demo site is using php & a mysql database, with image authorization. No one is going to be able to post this code for you along with database table information.

Um, that's the point I think everyone else realizes... You can't do an HTML login without some kind of scripting, be it PHP, Javascript, etc. He wanted an HTML login and that's what I gave him. Now go write a login.php script for him.
