i've put this in the html end.

any way can any one see why it will only scroll 3 iteams then return to scrolling the same 3 iteams? cause when i use this with out the marquee it displays all 20 odd things?

Just so you know, <marquee> is not actually a supported html tag, nor is it even a html tag, so you are going to have all kinds of crazy trouble with it now and into the future.
