Question Emailing a form HUH?

Hi,

I work for Redcross Australia

I was told by the marketing department to create a html email and have a little form at the bottom for the person to send their details with.

Now the reason they gave me this task was, I am the only one in the office who knows how to write html :s

I have a little knowledge of making webforms, but I am coming here to seek a little guidence.

All they asked for is:

First Name:
Second Name:
Position:
School:
Telephone: .......Fax:
Postal:
Send more information by Email [_] Fax[_] Post [_] Call me [_]

I just wanted to know if there is a quick/easy way to make this email. I have to make sure all the information is emailed back to my email address when they click the submit button.

(*the send more information section.. requires ticking.)

Thanks for reading

Robert

It's possible but I'd suggest you have it all web based. That way you don't need to worry about it working.... you just know it does.

You would justsend a link to the sign up form on the site and it's easy from there.....

I don't know if you still look at this post but here is my suggestion. If you are creating a form on your webpage you will need to submit the data to a server that is hosting the website. From there you could simply have the server send the post to your email. That is the easiest way to do this. Other then that you will have to do a mailto: link and hope they all have there email client setup.

If I remember correctly, you can specify a mailto link as the ACTION of the form also. Its been a very long time since Ive used that method, but it used to work
