I know this is supposed to be easy but I can't get it to work. How can I delete a cookie?

I'm working on a page for IE where users can choose a page as their "home page" within my page:

This is the cookie page:

http://fslactivities.sd61.bc.ca/tools/cookie.html

I would like to have a link (on the main page) that users could click when they want to reset to another page. So, it would first delete the cookie and then reload the main page. Can anyone help?
