rainbow text (n00b)

hi, i got this code off of dynamic drive... it makes the links on the page fade colors on mouseover. i want it to make other text fade/change but not on mouseover... somthing like onLoad? i am very n00bish to javascript and i tried everything i could but couldnt get it to work... can someone help?
